Today is the International Day of Charity! The aim of the International Day of Charity is to bring people together around the world, both nationally and locally, to raise awareness, volunteer and help others through charitable and philanthropic causes. SG World have been doing their bit for charity for a number of years.
SG World have been doing their bit for charity for many years and have recently set up the Arnold Haase Charitable Trust, in memory of our late chairman Arnold. The Trust raises funds for disadvantaged individuals in the local area of Crewe in Cheshire, the home of SG World HQ.
The Arnold Haase Charitable Trust has already raised funds through various activities including dress down Fridays, cake sales, football ticket raffles and our 'don't be late' jar! On Sunday 10th September a group of daring SG World colleagues will also be tackling, and hoping to survive, a Tough Mudder event to raise even more funds for the Trust.
