How To Use: SG World's Pre-Use Daily Inspection Checklist

Our Pre-Use Daily Inspection Checklist system offers a comprehensive solution tailored to various equipment types, making it easier than ever for operators to conduct thorough inspections. In this guide, we'll walk you through the simple steps of using our checklist system, complete with images for visual reference. Let's get started on the path to a safer workplace.

Step 1: Attachment

Begin by attaching the hi-vis yellow wallet containing the checklist book and the latest PASS/FAIL status to the equipment using a cable tie. This ensures easy access and visibility for operators.

Step 2: Tailored Checklists

 

Inside the checklist pad, you'll find 30 inspection checklist sheets, each tailored to a specific piece of equipment such as forklifts, pallet trucks, scaffolding, excavators, balers, and more. Operators simply work through the checklist, ticking off items, and signing and dating upon completion.

Step 3: Duplicate Record Creation

 

As you fill in the top white checklist sheet, a yellow carbon copy duplicate is automatically created and remains in the pad as a record. Note: Folding the white cardboard flap behind the inspection prevents information from being carbon copied to later inspections.

Step 4: PASS/FAIL Notice

 

On the reverse of the top white checklist sheet, you'll find a PASS and FAIL notice. Complete the relevant section based on the inspection outcome and tear it out of the pad for display.

Step 5: Display and Visibility

 

Fold the slip over and display the PASS or FAIL notice in the hi-vis wallet alongside the inspection pad. This allows operators to easily determine whether the equipment is safe to use at a glance.
