Congratulations Linda Williamson, Group Finance Manager, our latest winner of Employee of the month for March 2019!
Linda’s role involves her managing the finances of the SG World group of companies, including SG World itself, The Printing House and SG World USA. She also leads her team, ensuring that they are properly mentored and supported at all times.
Linda is well known across the company for being a reliable, helpful and friendly member of the Finance Department. She often goes above and beyond her role and is always happy to assist her colleagues and other departments when they need her help. Not only that, but she’s brilliant at her day-to-day job too!
It doesn’t end there. She’s slashed the time it takes for her department to compile their monthly financial figures for senior management, as well as the time it takes for an audit to be completed. She’s also redesigned The Printing House stocktake – all whilst studying for her NVQ Level 3 in Business Management. Phew!
Linda deserves to win, if for no other reason than the fact that she nominates other people just about every month and clearly values her colleagues.
Outside of work Linda (with the help of her husband Martin) has been renovating their home as they live in it. Two long cold winters with hardly any heating would have tipped most people over the edge but Martin assures us that she is loving every minute of it and is in absolutely no rush to get the heating sorted for next winter!
