Huge congratulations to Mark Russell, who has won Employee of the Month for August 2017!
Mark is a long-serving Helpdesk Support Analysts in the Support and Services department where he's well known for providing top-notch customer support and showing genuine care for his SG World customers, team mates and friends here at SG World.
Mark's day-to-day role sees him looking after the Second Line Helpdesk, which to non-techies translates as dealing with more complex and time-consuming support tasks. If that wasn't enough, Mark regularly volunteers for large on-site product installations - despite this not being in his job description.
He also took over a large-scale and very important project in August, where he handled a large customer project and ensured that everything ran smoothly. As usual, he dealt with everyone 'Mark Style' - in a calm, thoughtful and thorough way, which has resulted in a very satisfied and happy customer. Did Mark have to be asked to take on this crucial task? Of course not! As usual he volunteered as he simply wants to 'Help make a difference' and learn something new.
Mark genuinely cares and is a natural at living by our values of 'Do the right thing', 'Do it the right way', 'Be fresh' and 'Be the best you can be'! His manager, Adam Casey, said: "Mark doesn't realise just what a huge difference he makes. He truly cares about others and does a fantastic job, no matter what his day throws at him. He really deserves his award and we're thrilled for him!"
