As this is the first EOTM since before the pandemic hit, we thought it was an opportunity to have a double celebration, so we are delighted to announce not one but 2 winners of our EOTM.
Our joint winner is Paul Stringer our Software Developer, Installer, Designer and Trainer in fact all things technical. Over the last month Paul has stepped in to assist Support and Services with installations, training and a whole host of other issues. Paul then agreed to pick up the artwork for SGW5D until a suitable alternative can be found. Add this to his ongoing software development commitments – I think its easy for anyone to see that Paul has done it the right way, he’s been the best he can be and most importantly he’s done the right thing.
What sets Paul aside is his willingness to help, his willingness to assist and his passion for his work. Paul “is always willing to help” and most definitely goes the extra mile. So, a big well done to Paul and enjoy the parking space and the voucher.
Our other joint winner is Todd Wright, Salesperson, Account Manager, demonstrator and all round sales professional. When recruiting for a sales position we invest a lot of effort in finding that one individual that might just fit the SG World profile. This is because it’s not just about “can they sell?” it’s about so much more. Will they do the right thing in the right way? Will they embed themselves within the SG World family? Will they support other colleagues in achieving the end goal? Are they open to change? And finally, do they understand it’s about “us” not “me”?
This individual has definitely demonstrated, so far in his career with SG World, that he ticks all of these boxes. His willingness to evolve and change as we change the way we sell, together with his co-operative attitude with his colleagues, all with a positive outlook, demonstrate he does the right thing and in the right way. Whether it be using HubSpot, changes in way of working, learning presenting through digital methods, or working with a changing internal process, Todd has done all these with a smile on his face, and most importantly he wants to learn to become the best version of himself. As a business we are sure he will enjoy many years of success at SG World.
Congratulations to both Paul and Todd, enjoy the parking space and the voucher, and most importantly, the knowledge that you are EOTMs because your colleagues think you deserve it!
