Congratulations Peter Gleave, Helpdesk Analyst, who has won Employee of the Month for September 2018!
Pete joined SG World back in May 2015 and in that time, has made waves in the Support and Services Department. Well known for his patient, friendly and supportive nature, he has also become really highly regarded for the help that he has given to the business, his colleagues and our customers since joining us.
Pete's role as Helpdesk Analyst sees him chatting to our electronics customers when they have queries and supporting his colleagues with their IT requests. However, this month he was specifically nominated for some outstanding work with one of SG World's Major Accounts customers.
Pete worked tirelessly with this customer's Head of IT, expertly advising them on how their SG World touchscreens should tie in with their infrastructure. Pete's efforts have really strengthened our relationship with this household name and, thanks to his dedication, the customer views SG World as the first port of call for advice they can trust and implement for the best result.
Pete is always willing to go the extra mile, starting work early, staying late and taking work home with him. His understanding of how to make all his customers happy - along with him always being informed, honest and willing to go the extra mile - means he was an obvious choice for this month's Employee of the Month prize.
SG World quite simply wouldn't be the same place without us seeing Pete speeding into Head Office every morning on his trusted bicycle; brakes failing and a trail of freshly spilt coffee in his wake!
