Congratulations Roger Smith, Production Operative, our latest winner of Employee of the Month for December 2019!
Roger has been with us for 12 months but has worked in the print industry for many years. He’s quickly settled in, making a big impression on his colleagues and bringing a wealth of print knowledge and experience to the company.
Roger was nominated this month for recently completing some very important training on our Sakurai LED UV Press, meaning that the company can fully utilise this huge resource, significantly reducing down time on the press and helping to turn jobs around for customers in a much quicker timescale.
Not only that, but Roger’s passion for fixing things meant that he was recently able to help repair and maintain some of our TPH machines – saving us money on call out charges and down time.
Roger wasn’t only nominated for completing his training on the Sakurai LED UV Press and helping repair machinery; he’s also well known across the business for his industry knowledge, skill and stories which he’s only too happy to share with this colleagues.
He is a genuinely down to earth guy and family man who just wants to help out wherever he can, including coming up with new ideas on how to do things, or just helping out when people are struggling. It’s all these qualities that make Roger such a well deserving winner and we couldn’t be happier for him.
