SG World Celebrates World Safety Day

The 28th April is World Day for Health and Safety at Work. The annual event, founded by the International Labour Organisation in 2003, promotes the prevention of workplace accidents and workplace diseases.

How SG World Supports World Day for Health and Safety at Work

Each year SG World help many of our customers participate in World Day for Health and Safety at Work. Over the years, we have provided thousands of bespoke printed assets, from banners and signage to sunglasses and stress balls.

Building a Positive Health and Safety Culture

This year's World Safety Day focuses on creating a healthy psychosocial workplace environment. This involves celebrating best health and safety practices, creating a culture that prioritises safety, and making it easy for employees to follow safety procedures.

Making Safety Visible with Bespoke Products

In light of this, we have been supplying our customers with plenty of products designed to make safety visible. We have provided one client with thousands of bespoke printed sunglasses, sharing a message encouraging people to copy the good example set by others.

Encouraging Best Health and Safety Practice

We've created heart-shaped stress balls for one client, designed to make people love safety. And as ever, we've created plenty of branded banners, signs, and lanyards for World Safety Day events organised by our customers.

One client asked us to create thousands of 'recognition cards' which their employees can fill out to recognise colleagues or other sites which have displayed best health and safety practice. The purpose of these cards is to celebrate best practices and encourage other sites to copy the good work.
