SG World are delighted to announce their donation of £300 to the Cheshire & Warrington Carers Trust, through their charity the Arnold Haase Charitable Trust.

Lisa Warburton, a Development Manager from the Trust, recently visited SG World to receive the cheque and to talk about how the charity helps members from the local community.

“The wonderful donation of £300 will help us to provide events to support children and young people in the Crewe area who have additional needs.”

Carers have many different needs and Cheshire & Warrington Carers Trust assists with information regarding health issues, entitlements, mobility, grants for holidays, equipment and support.

The Crewe office is based on Brierley Street and offers help to those who care and provide support to family members or friends.  Lisa said that the “donation will help many local children and their families and will make a positive difference. It is very much appreciated.”

The donation will help to organise two different events which will be held in Crewe.  These will offer opportunities for disabled children and their siblings to play, make and enjoy inclusive arts and crafts. Activities and events such as these, enable families to meet for friendship and support and can be very beneficial.

Mark Haase, SG World CEO, said: “The Arnold Haase Charitable Trust is here to help local charitable causes who make a huge difference to the lives of local people every day. The Cheshire & Warrington Carers Trust is a shining example of a cause that does just that. It was our pleasure to meet members of the Trust and to know that the Arnold Haase Charitable Trust is helping this great local cause.”

The Cheshire & Warrington Carers Trust is only the latest charity to benefit from a donation from the Arnold Haase Charitable Trust. Last October the Seahorse Swimming Club, which supports local people with physical and learning disabilities with swimming lessons and water therapy, also received a donation.
