On Tuesday 24th July, SG World said goodbye to the person who's been saying hello to our visitors for the last 18 and a half years.

Pauline Wailing, our company Receptionist, took the huge decision to retire from the business and the reception desk won't be quite the same without her. You only get one chance to make a first impression and Pauline was instrumental in ensuring any SG World visitor got a warm and professional welcome.
Pauline could have retired years ago but enjoyed being part of the SG World family - always ready with a friendly greeting and kind word for visitors and staff alike. However, on the road to recovery after a recent illness, Pauline decided to finally take her foot off the pedal and retire from a full and rewarding working life to focus on her health and family.
SG World directors and staff made a special effort to say a big thank you and goodbye by hosting a farewell lunch and presentation for Pauline and her family.
"Pauline will be very much missed, we hope she looks back at her time with SG World with pride and affection and stays in touch because she'll always be welcome," said Mark Haase, SG World CEO.
