Congratulations to Zoe Sanderson after bagging an award at last night’s 2017 South and West Cheshire College Apprentice Awards ceremony.

Zoe attended a gala reception at the Ellesmere Port Campus to pick up an acclaimed Highly Commended for Sales, Marketing and Creative Industries Award for achievements in her Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Marketing.

Zoe joined SG World in 2014 and was delighted to get the opportunity to study for an NVQ. “It’s something I’ve always wanted to do to bridge some gaps and bring my skills to an industry recognised level. It’s been pretty challenging and a lot of hard work but I’ve had a lot of support from SG World, especially Richard Nichols our department Director. Getting the award was a lovely surprise and a real boost, it was a lovely evening although I think I might have over-indulged on the canapes.”

On commending Zoe, her assessor, David Dunkley, said “Zoe has proven herself a valuable asset within the company, she is pro-active and is able to take calculated initiatives. Zoe is a talented candidate and demonstrates her ability to function successfully within a business environment, I believe she has an extremely bright future.”

Zoe has already picked up an internal “Special Recognition” award earlier this year for her outstanding support of SG World's sales effort, (the Marketing Department are considering putting up a special shelf). “We’re very proud of Zoe and her achievements” said Richard Nichols, SG World Sales and Marketing Director, “she has a real passion and a positive attitude and it shows in everything she does.”
